Our library is the international library of the Museum, Library and Archive of Hungarian Circus Arts, and an important venue for the scientific research of the National Circus Arts Centre. It is a constantly growing public collection where books, periodicals and circus programmes are available in more than 20 languages and can be read locally. Our collection also includes music sheets from the past decades of the Capital Circus of Budapest, circus examination papers from secondary and higher education institutions, as well as books and albums of museum value. This rich selection makes national and international information on the circus world available to anyone interested in circus arts.
Our library is a primary resource for circus history research, knowledge acquisition, learning and professional development for artists, artists-in-training, circus professionals and circus enthusiasts.
